Borders
(Three Stills Distillery Company Ltd)

www.thebordersdistillery.com

The first distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837, the distillery was commissioned in 2018 in the town of Hawick. Hawick is known as the town where ‘tweed’ was invented and cashmere is king. The distillery occupies a landmark building in the centre of the town. The blending skills of the founders mean that a Clan Fraser and a Clan Fraser Reserve are already available as blends. There is also a Blended Malt Scotch under the name ‘Lower East Side’ and William Kerrs Border Gin, celebrating the great plant collector of that name. New Make is also available until the magical three years maturing is reached when it can be called whisky. The Borders Distillery are a new exhibitor at Harrow for 2020, we look forward to welcoming them to the Grim’s Dyke estate in Harrow Weald.
